About Breaking the Shell

An exercise for surfacing barriers, examining assumptions, and choosing action. Developed and shared by RedQuadrant; this browser adaptation is presented by Breaking the Shell Ltd.

Privacy and storage

No account is needed. Purpose, barriers, and actions are stored in local storage on your device and are not sent to a database. JSON and PDF exports remain under your control. Clearing browser data can remove the saved exercise. Use ‘Clear this exercise’ to delete it from this browser.

There are no analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting service handles technical request information needed to serve and protect the site. Email enquiries go to the mailbox you choose.

Reuse

The original overview specifies Creative Commons reuse with attribution, without identifying a version. Credit RedQuadrant and retain the source notice. The new browser code is provided under the MIT licence, included in the source. Third-party material is not relicensed.
